Housing costs are up.

Groceries and gas are up.

Texans paychecks are not keeping up.

On day 1, I intend to introduce legislation to:
1. Stop subsidizing private school for the wealthy with our public dollars.
2. Fully fund public schools

Texas currently has the highest uninsured rate in the nation, nearly double the national average.

This is in large part because the state has not implemented Medicaid expansion.

The long-term solution is universal health care -- not health insurance but health care -- for all Americans.

It's in Texans' best interest to invest in Texas small businesses

Freedom of speech, expression (including reading), assembly, and worship are under attack

Texas Veterans served us; it's time for us to repay that debt

- Streamline process for applying for Texas Veterans Commission grants
- Public campaign to reach 

Ordinary Texans can't afford this kind of "growth"

- The money and benefits flow toward the corporations.
- All the risk flows to the people who live there.
